What is "Pixelians"?
	"Pixelians" is a continuing pixel art project since 2003. It features a collection of characters drawn in an unique pixelated style.

What does "Pixelians" mean?
	This name comes from a combination of "pixel" and "-ian", which simply means pixel people.

Why are you drawing"Pixelians"?
	Just for fun. It has nothing to do with any kind of profit-making activities.

What is a pixel?
	A pixel (short for Picture Element) is the smallest unit of digital graphics. Loosely speaking, it is a tiny square dot which contains information of a certain position and a single color. A raster graphics image is made up of nurmerous pixels. The more pixels an image contains, the better the resolution it can offer.

What is pixel art?
	Pixel art is a form of digital art. Differ from ordinary raster graphics which are also composed of pixels, genuine pixel art must be created and eidted on pixel-level, without using any kind of automatic filters (such as anti-aliasing). Since pixel art is friendly to low resolution display, it was very often used in older video games and still remains popular on hand-held console and mobile phone games.

Is it difficult to draw "Pixelians"?
	The essense of drawing "Pixelians" is to exhibit as many details of a characters as possible, with a very limited number of pixels. It can be quite challenging sometimes, especially for characters with a lot of features. But in general, it is not that difficult.

How frequently do you update this website?
	I do not have a regular schedule.

Where do you get your inspirations?
	Everywhere. Mainly from movies and ACG.

Who is your favourite character?
	Myself.

Are you or will you be woking on other pixel artworks?
	I do not claim myself to be a comprehensive pixel artist. All I am interested in is characters. So no other plans have been conceived yet.

	I welcome anyone join as a financial supporter... To be honest, I prefer working alone.
